IT’S ABOUT THE DAY …
Ellen and Scott just wanted family and friends to gather and celebrate in a place that they both love … and that place was Lake George! This couple also wanted to keep things simple, yet beautiful. The Ceremony was held at Silver Bay Chaple in Hague, NY, which you can see is just stunning!
THE DESIGN …
Ellen wanted to keep the day casual and warm, with tones of fall. Scott was not feeling the idea of wearing a boutonnière. I promised Ellen I would keep his look “Huntsman Worthy”, and I did! For the reception we used our clover full length cloths, and overlays of hemstitch hemp and linen for the tables. Ellen tied the guests’ names and table numbers on little oil and vinegar bottles. LOVE THOSE! They were perfect. The colors were the warmest the fall has to offer and just right for this Lake George wedding. Normally we drape every inch of Shelving Rock Terrace for weddings. Ellen and Scott wanted to keep it simple on their day, it was perfect just as it was. We supplied the linens, chairs, candles, and flowers, and the party was ready to start.
