From the very first conversation I knew this would be a special day. Elke and Tom could have been married anywhere in the world. They picked Lake Placid, where Elke’s family has a beautiful home. The ceremony at St. Agnes was beautiful and the reception at The Whiteface Club and Resort was magical. The only issue that came up was these blended families and friends were busting out of the seams for the dining room. With the help of the couple and the WFCR staff, the veranda off the main banquet space became an outdoor dining room and worked perfectly. We added our linen, flowers, specialty napkins with trimmings, and pin spots for the tables to set the perfect mood for this worldly couple.
Thank you so much to Paul Reynolds Photography for these wonderful photos, the entire Whiteface Club staff (especially Kristin Parker), Clifton Park Rental for the site checks and lighting, and especially my team at Renaissance Floral Design for always bringing their best.

Each place setting was set with our rustic farm charger topped with an ivory hemstitch linen napkin, then tied with French ribbon and accented with a seagrass floret.
