Elizabeth wanted a classic New England wedding and her parents, hosted the event at their home. For multiple generations, family weddings have been held at this magnificent residence. I have to say, “It was a blast working with the parents of the bride!” They are close friends, which adds a layer of fun and, quite honestly, additional pressure to ensure everything is just right. We helped the family build a team by suggesting our best venders and they selected a group which resulted in a magical day for friends and family.
In spite of a September date, it was sweltering. The forecast was not looking favorable for cocktail hour, so fast hands and swift professionals (aka the “A team”) erected a conservatory style tent on “Lilac Path.” The result was stunning.
Elizabeth is the first of her many siblings and cousins to tie the the knot. As everyone entered the tent, of course there were lots of “ooohs” and “ahhhs,” but once the bride, groom, their crew, and Jack & Joanne entered the tent, the party was started conga style.
I have to say, in my now 20th year of designing and executing events, this was one of the days that reminds me why I work endless hours and never stop trying to ensure every detail is just right. Thank you my friends for reminding me why I love what I do.
