THE CONNECTION…
Connecticut planner Erica Powell reached out to me to see if I could lend a hand. She needed help with the execution of a design for her clients hosting a wedding on Lake George … Um YEA … I love working with new people, and after our first conversation, I knew I was going to love Erica. The Wiawaka was a new location for me as well, and it was perfect for this couple’s big day.
THE DESIGN…
The entire design was based on the stationary for the wedding, which had a rich palette of colors. Aubergine, saffron, terra cotta, peacock, and blue dusted with sparkle and wrapped up in lace …
The couple did a lot of the work creating some of the great pieces shown in the images. Erica also pulled out the stops and emptied her closets of goodies too. This goes to show that you don’t need a large budget to have a great design. All you need is vision and trust in those around you.

Erica, thank you so much for introducing me to this great couple. I had a blast working on this event. I know you were far from home, yet you managed to seek out the best in the area. We loved pulling it together for you in our neck of the woods and look forward to doing it again!
