FEELING HONORED…
We are lucky enough to have been a part of many weddings at the Inn at Erlowest. When we received a request to meet from Jen we were excited to have another one. When I found out that Jen was the daughter of one of the owners I was feeling very honored that they came to us!
PAYING IT FORWARD…
During our second meeting the owners of the property asked me if I would be open to the idea finding some special items they could purchased to and enhance the property during and after Jen’s wedding. I’m not going to lie… I was a little excited when they asked me to do this.
Erlowest had already replaced the carpeting, purchased new Charivari Chairs for the ballroom, and made improvements to the the ceremony area. We suggested they address a few additional issues in the Ballroom, and they did.
During a visit to our store, they selected two J.W. Fisk style Victorian egret urns from our garden collection. I also gave them options of overlays they could purchase, They picked a custom embroidered sheer with a duchess satin border. The day of the wedding we delivered and filled the urns with blooming perennials, and placed all the linen overlays. Once all the lush arrangements of blooms supported by our signature Crystal stands for the tall arrangements and compote urns for the low were set into place, this wedding was complete!
A beautiful room for Jen & Daniel was ready for family and friends to enjoy. The owners generous request to add permanent enhancements to the property just goes to show paying it forward still exists. It’s also a testament to how much they want to please their guests.
