Carolyn & Max - Lake Placid

I am ecstatic to share this with everyone.  A perfect storm of trusting clients, one of the most creative brides I have ever met, and I was able to hand select key vendors to create the team. The music and photographer were expertly selected by the couple.

The bride, Carolyn, is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to style; and her parents wanted her to be blissfully happy on the day she and Max would marry.

The locations featured in the images are private locations in Lake Placid with views most people can only dream about.

No detail was missed, right down to the shape and size of the spoon that would hold the white anchovy on the deconstructed Caesar salad.  RFD designed every single detail on this event, and could we not be more proud.

With hundreds of hours of planning and staging, the day went by like a cloud of bliss for everyone involved.

The thank you list is long on this one, but without each and every person it would not have been the same.

  • The support team in my office, who all worked tirelessly to help me mold each element for the event.
  • Full Service Planning / Coordination: Christine Wheat Events Firm and her entire team for all the minutia of details which took over a year to finesse into the final timeline for the three days which totaled 7 pages of minute to minute details.
  • Coordination of Guest and Vendor Accommodations / Lake Placid Venues / Specialty Items from the Lake Placid Region: Cindy Byno Northwood Events
  • Stage Production: lighting – Ken Mark of All Access Production and Staging Services; sound distribution installation and execution – DePalma Production Inc; stage design and decor – Renaissance Floral Design; staging and rigging Clifton Park Rental
  • Design Elements: twig railing and stairway designed by David Michael Schmidt, created by Jay Dawson, and implemented by Clifton Park Rental

Then there is the list of elements procured and produced by Renaissance Floral Design: china, glassware, flatware, chargers, vintage crystal, candle sticks, hand made candles, salt & pepper shakers, table numbers, linens custom made for each table, table and food station displays including bar fronts, five different style chandeliers, 60 pieces of vintage furniture, rugs, mirrors, lamps, shutters, trunks, parasols for the bridal shoot and for the tents, custom designed walkways, a door casement in the middle of the path to the reception, specialty staging for the entertainment area, hand painted backdrop for the band, vaudeville lights for the lounge, and vintage red and gold drapery for the stage front.  Plus thousands of feet of hanging ribbons to accent the custom designed domes.

To be honest, I think it is just wiser to let the video and images tell the story of how we design each and every detail of this event: Thank you Jeffrey Holland at Full Frame Digital Cinema of Nashville and his team for the documentary! Love you guys!
